The prospect of losing Denzel Dumfries this summer is something Inter Milan is thinking about. The Dutchman will not be sent away to the Nerazzurri. Last year, he agreed to a contract extension. But there is a €25 million release provision in that new agreement.
Additionally, Inter knows that Dumfries is not entirely pleased with the scathing remarks made by Inter captain Lautaro Martinez last week. Additionally, Dumfries has switched to Jorge Mendes as his agent. That might be a clue that he plans to depart the team this summer. Inter Milan is awaiting word from any teams interested in Dumfries. If something is going to happen, it must happen quickly because the 29-year-old's release clause expires on the 15th of this month. Manchester City, one of the biggest teams in the Premier League, is reportedly interested in Dumfries. The former PSV wingback is also being linked to Barcelona.
